University Project 2021

Concerning the Penguin Student Design Award 2021, the book cover for Benjamin Zephaniah’s Talking Turkeys has the potential to create a captivating and enjoyable atmosphere for children. Given the profound themes of animal rights and consumerism, I have crafted an illustration that aligns perfectly with these concepts while also generating excitement among young readers.

Combining a screen-based design and an offline traditional format became the main conceptual thinking that was for the Poster Collage. Reaching out for Design and Mental Health interests, I have arranged together a range of environment pieces which brings in-depth feeling and emotions about people’s health due to the physical and psychological relationship.

University live project 2021

The Lilliesleaf Trust UK created a Center of Memory and Learning (CML) within the former headquarters of the African National Congress (ANC) at 28 Penton Street, Islington, with Caroline Kamana, the Anti-Apartheid Legacy Project Director.

 

The live project that I managed to work on through university dedicated a clear message that needed to be delivered: “With London Met, we’ll deliver impactful programs that channel the legacy of one of the most powerful social movements of the 20th century.” The Centre of Memory and Learning will foreground an empowering, under-represented Black-led history, redressing long-standing imbalances in who UK heritage is made for and by.”

For a comprehensive branding package, the deliverables include a clean and impactful logotype that captures the essence of the brand, paired with a distinct brand mark that can stand alone for recognition. A thoughtfully designed colour palette will reflect the brand’s personality, ensuring versatility across various media. Typography patterns consist of primary and secondary fonts that work harmoniously for both print and digital applications, maintaining readability and aesthetic appeal.

 

Additionally, a set of custom icons enhances visual communication, reinforcing the brand identity by providing intuitive symbols that can be used in various contexts. Each element was designed to create a cohesive and memorable brand presence.

Architecture Colouring Book

Personal Project 2022

“Earth” is a uniquely designed architecture coloring book for grownups, available on Amazon, where each page showcases my photography transformed into intricate drawings. The coloring journey begins with simpler designs that gradually progress to more complex illustrations, allowing for a fulfilling creative experience. To enrich the coloring experience, I’ve labeled each page with the country where the original photograph was taken, adding a touch of cultural context. The front cover offers a sneak peek of the beautiful artwork inside, featuring a captivating photograph from the iconic “Merry Cemetery” in Romania, providing both visual allure and a personal connection to my roots.

“Earth Story” is a captivating poster design project that blends digital and analog techniques, showcasing four unique posters each with its own narrative. The first poster brings to life the imagery of a meteorite entering the protoplanet stage, creatively illustrated using an hourglass to symbolize the passage of time. This concept culminates in the emergence of a footprint, representing humanity’s impact on Earth. Each poster not only stands out visually but also tells a deeper story, inviting viewers to reflect on the relationship between time, nature, and human existence.

The illustration of the two rabbits, representing the 2023 Chinese New Year, beautifully embodies the spirit of this auspicious year, known as the luckiest in the zodiac. Formed in the shape of yin and yang, the design captures the balance between good and bad, while the carefully chosen color palette evokes prosperity, hope, and calm as we welcome the new year. 

 

This artwork not only celebrates the cultural significance of the rabbit but also serves as a symbolic reminder of harmony in life, making it a meaningful addition to the festivities.

The two rabbits are a representation of the Chinese New Year celebration, 2023 being a rabbit year and the luckiest one of all the animals in the zodiac.

 

The illustration is made in the shape of yin and yang to define the good and the bad, creating a color palette that symbolizes prosperity, hope, and calm for the new year.

Alba

 

As the night falls and the sun sets over La Scala and the Duomo’s spires adorn the sky with the last of the light, there is a distinct feeling of everyday pleasures being taken to new heights as the beat of the city and the background music of the bar allure guests into the night, ‘Alba’, meaning “dawn” in Italian, perfectly encapsulates the essence of a chic rooftop restaurant that emphasizes purity and simplicity.

 

The brand identity revolves around a clean, modern aesthetic featuring a predominantly white color palette, symbolizing freshness and elegance.

 

A refined logo with an understated, elegant font can convey sophistication, while subtle imagery of the rising sun or soft light beams can enhance the theme of renewal and purity.

Paradiso Milanese

​

“Paradiso Milanese” serves as an evocative name that embodies the restaurant’s mission to elevate the culinary experience in Milan with a blend of passion and modernity. The branding can feature a refined yet playful aesthetic, using an elegant color scheme of rich earth tones mixed with vibrant accents inspired by Milan’s art and culture.

 

A sophisticated logo, perhaps incorporating a stylized representation of Milan’s skyline or iconic landmarks, paired with contemporary typography, can articulate the restaurant’s audacious spirit. Design elements like textured materials and sleek lines will evoke a sense of luxe Italian comfort, while an engaging visual identity—highlighting seasonal ingredients and Chef Berton’s unique interpretations—will celebrate the essence of Italian food and drink. This combination ensures that “Paradiso Milanese” feels both rooted in tradition and firmly focused on innovation, inviting guests to partake in an extraordinary culinary journey.

As an exhibitor at the D&AD New Blood Festival, thrilled to present my Penguin Merchandise project. 

 

This initiative highlights my creativity and design skills while celebrating the beloved Penguin brand. Engaging with fellow creatives and industry leaders at this prestigious event will not only showcase my work but also foster connections and potential collaborations, paving the way for new opportunities in the creative business and excited to share my vision and passion for design with a broader audience.

Packaging Design

The project revolves around creating a vibrant breakfast cereal package deseigned to engage children while promoting healthier eating habits. The package front features playful, eye-catching colors and whimsical characters that appeal to kids, along with a transparent window showcasing the colorful, nutritious cereal inside, encouraging curiosity and interac. To enhance the message of healthy eating, fun facts about nutrition and tips for making balanced breakfast choices can be integrated into these illustrations. Companion activities or challenges, can encourage kids to create their own healthy meal combinations with the cereal.

This approach not only captivates children’s interest but also empowers parents in their ongoing journey to instill good eating habits, making breakfast a fun and engaging experience for the whole family.

​

Inside the cereal box, children will dis- cover an engaging interactive game consisting of six themed “rooms,” each represented by a unique shape cutout. These shapes serve as the basis for a playful scavenger hunt titled “Find the Object.”

​

The card pack features colorful illustrations and names of the items, while a sticker pack allows children to place stickers in the correct shapes on the game board once they find each item. The back of each card contains fun, encouraging messages promoting healthy eating habits related to the found object.

​

This innovative and creative approach not only fosters problem-solving and fine motor skills but also emphasizes the importance of healthy food choices in a fun, interactive format that resonates with children, making breakfast a delightful adventure.

The process of crafting an elegant and unified creation that aligns with the event’s overarching theme starts with the careful selection of colours and styles, ranging from classic to rustic to modern. The final design not only provides guests with a delightful preview of the culinary experience but also serves as a keepsake that reflects the couple’s unique love story and wedding aesthetics.
